Next Meeting…Wednesday, March 8th at the Eagles Club

Free burgers for paid members at 6 PM…Meeting at 7 PM

If you have not renewed your membership yet or you would like to sign up you can download a form to send in from our website , by talking to a club officer, or by stopping at L&H Shoe Shop.

Our benefits include our club newsletter, free burgers at most meetings, and a subscription to North Dakota Outdoors Magazine.

BCWF Predator Hunt – There were 16 teams and 32 hunters this year. There were a total of 13 coyotes shot. The winner of the riffle was Mike Thoreson. The largest coyote was shot by Ian Severson and Natalie Koch. The smallest dog was shot by Eugene Sandness, Keith Hample, Rob Sandness. The top 3 teams were -1st Place – 3 Coyotes. Eugene Sandness, Keith Hample, Rob Sandness;2nd Place – 2 Coyotes Dustin Krueger, Nick Olson, Austin Gahner; 3rd Place – 2 Coyotes. Justin Gronbeck and Gary Will.  Ties were broke by check in time. 

North Dakota Winter Show:  We are having a booth again this year at the Winter Show March 9th-11th stop by and renew your membership if you have not had a chance to do so yet.  We will have some information from the Game and Fish and a picture slide show of events throughout the year.

Big Spenders Banquet – Will be April 8th at the Eagles. 

VCSU Scholarships:  The application is attached to the email and also available at L&H Shoe Shop and Perry also has some.  The deadline to turn in applications this year is April 1st.

Hunters Ed – Next class starts in March.  Class dates will be March 13th, 14th, 16th, 20th, and 23rd.  Contact Skip Pederson 845-3211 with questions.

Archery– They are shooting Monday and Wednesday nights starting at 7. The location is 1025 4 Bottle Drive.  Contact Neil for more information 840-0173.

Summer Derby:  Applications have been mailed out, if you are interested in fishing the derby and haven’t before contact Perry.

Gaylon Hansen Youth Day: The date has been set for August 2nd this year.  The event is open to kids ages 9-18.

High School Trap League:  There were 47 kids that attended the preregistration for the spring season.

Jr Naturalists – They will be making recycled bird houses on March 23 at the Rhodes Science Center Room 209 at 6pm.
