ELECTION OF OFFICERS WAS A UNANIMOUS CAST FOR ALL PRESENT OFFICERS! WE STRIVE TO SERVE YOU THE BEST WE CAN! WE CARE ABOUT THIS ORGANIZATION AND IT’S PEOPLE. THANKS!

BUCK SHOW HIGHLIGHTS: TJ HANSEN INFORMED US THAT TREVOR QUICK’S BUCK TOOK THE #1 SPOT IN OUR RECORDS FROM 27 YEARS OF THE EVENT! A TYPICAL WHITETAIL AT 176 SCORE. FIVE OTHERS FROM THIS YEAR WERE PLACED IN THE TOP 40.

NDGFD ADVISORY BOARD MEETING HELD DEC. 2 HAD ABOUT 50 ATTENDEES. GOOD DIALOGUE WITH LOCAL CONCERNS. ANYONE WITH ISSUES CAN TALK TO ONE OF OUR OFFICERS FOR THE INPUT WE NEED.

JUNIOR NATURALISTS: JAN 17TH (Tentative) Ice Fishing Event at Hatchery Pond, Parents please call Kyle at 701-650-8715 or kyle.m.Johnson@vcsu.edu . There is no age limit on kids that have the interest for these events.

PREDATOR HUNTS: SV CALLING CONTEST…JAN. 20-22.2011…get info at www.coyotehunter.net or call Gary Will 845-2059. Any interest is invited for sign up as winter weather continues. THERE ARE MORE AREA HUNTS SCHEDULED BUT THESE ARE THE ONLY ONES WE HAVE DATES FOR:

FOOD PANTRY VENISON netted us 10 deer. This is good considering conditions! OTHER DONATIONS OPTIONAL…..

VC CARES: Rosie Larson 490-1389 will take home processed, neatly packaged & dated for area families.

SV FRIENDS OF ANIMALS: Kay Kringlie 845-4096 can put you in touch with the people that can take freezerburned meat you need to get out of your freezer. It can help feed foster pets…Don’t throw it in the garbage.

NDWF CONVENTION…JAN. 28-29…BISMARCK…The Club thinks that it has enough delegates to attend, but if you have interest in going, call Perry 845-0564. It is a learning experience. Club pays registration and extra.
