RAP Trailer

2011 February 28
by BCW

The Report All Poaching (RAP) program is soliciting funds in order to purchase and construct a traveling display trailer.  The trailer would contain various mounts seized from poachers, a television to show wildlife related videos, furs, skulls, wings, and an assortment of other materials which help to inform and educate the public about the abuse of one of our state’s most valuable natural resources.

North Dakota’s wildlife belongs to all of us, and it is important to spread the RAP message:  reporting poachers helps us to punish those who break the law and assures the conservation and protection of this limited resource.  Below is the anti-poaching trailer designed for use by the state of Utah and is similar to the RAP trailer we hope to construct in North Dakota.

The trailer will be equipped with lights, outlets, a generator, two concessionaire’s doors, and other amenities to allow for easy set up and display.  The cost to purchase and outfit the trailer is an estimated $20,000.  RAP program made the first contribution for the project with a donation of $5,000.

Wildlife organizations, individuals, and sporting goods dealers throughout North Dakota are invited to join the RAP program by contributing to the purchase and development of this trailer in an effort to curb poaching in North Dakota.

The RAP program is a 501 (c) 3 organization, so all contributions are tax deductible.
