Next Meeting…Wednesday, May 9th at the Eagles Club

Free burgers for paid members at 6 PM…Meeting at 7 PM

If you have not renewed your membership yet or you would like to sign up you can download a form to send in from our website , by talking to a club officer, or by stopping at L&H Shoe Shop.

Our benefits include our club newsletter, free burgers at most meetings, and a subscription to North Dakota Outdoors Magazine.

Big Spenders Banquet & Raffle – We had a good turnout for the banquet.  BCWF netted around $16,000 off of the boards, bird bands, and $1,000 raffles!  The raffle winners are listed on the next page.

Fisheries Project – The new ramp has been put in at the West Ashtabula Crossing.  The total cost for the project was around $40,000.

Road Cleanup – Road cleanup is Wednesday May 2nd.  Meet at the fish hatchery at 5.  If you would like to help, but haven’t volunteered yet contact Perry 490-1797, so that he can order the right amount of food. 

Creel Survey – Gary Erickson was the drawing winner for January.  Gary donated the money back to the club.  We would like to thank Gary for that.  Greg Miller won the February drawing.

Pheasant Chicks – The chicks are scheduled to be here May 31st at 5:30 pm, at Cenex.    

Trap Team – Tj said there are 53 shooters signed up this year, 11 more than last year.  TJ could use some more volunteers, if you have time to help contact TJ, 490-0929.

Summer Derby – Will be June 9th & 10th, if you can help contact Perry to volunteer.  Applications have been mailed out, if you are interested in fishing the derby and haven’t before contact Perry right away, we are very close to a full field.

Jr Archery – Youth Archery will be Tuesday nights.  The club will be helping to purchase half a gross of arrows for the program.

Archery – They have started their own group called Sheyenne Valley Bowmen.  They are shooting on Sundays and Mondays in the basement of the old rec center.  For more information contact Kyle Roelfsema, 840-5229.

March Hunters Ed – The March class had 45 students complete the class. 

Perch Rings – We will be putting out perch rings again on Lake Ashtabula.  Perry will contact the people that have volunteered to help was a date and time is set.
