If you have not renewed your membership yet or you would like to sign up you can download a form to send in from our website , by talking to a club officer, or stopping at L&H Shoe Shop.

Sheyenne Valley Calling & Raffle Contest – The hunt and raffle was January 21st. There was 17 teams consisting of 45 hunters and they harvested 25 coyotes.

First place with 7 coyotes was Russ Young and Lee Slykerman, second place – 5 coyotes – Talen, Brandon, and Randy Larson, third place – 5 coyotes – Mark Pollert, Rob Sandness, and Cole Young. Raffle results are attached to the newsletter email and are available on the club’s website and Facebook page.

Pheasant Tail Contest – The pheasant tail contest was held before the January meeting. Wayne Liebersbach took 1st 24 5/16, 2nd place Owen Tichy 24 4/16, 3rd place Waylan Starr 24 2/16.

BCW Predator Hunt- The hunt will be February 4th poster available on Facebook and our website.

Hunter’s Ed- There will be a class starting February 20th at VCSU. Details and registration is on the ND G&F website.

Fingal Wildlife Smoker- The smoker will be on February 10th.

NDWF- The convention was held in Bismarck earlier this month. NDWF President Kerry Whip has been emailing out briefings. I have been emailing them out to the membership and will continue to do that to keep everyone informed with what’s going on with NDWF.

Big Spenders Raffle Tickets- The banquet and raffle with be April 1st. There are very few tickets left. Contact Perry, 490-1797 if you would like to purchase one.

Summer Derby- The summer derby will be June 10th and 11th.

2023 Fisheries Project- The club’s project will be a new cleaning station at the west crossing and also a dock at Eckelson Lake.
