Next Meeting…Wednesday, May 10th…Valley City Eagles Club…
Free burgers for paid members at 6 PM …The meeting will be at 7pm…

BCW Scholarships- Five scholarships were awarded at the April meeting to the following students at VCSU. Aiden Jacobson VC , Madison Namanny Watford City, Amber Kologi ,Rochert MN, Skylar Yarbro Grand Forks, and Jacob Zetocha Bismarck.


High School Trap- TJ gave a report, they were able to start shooting last week. They have 32 kids shooting this spring.


Take a Kid Fishing- Take a Kid Fishing is scheduled for June 22nd.


BCN Archery Program- BCW Donated $1000 to their archery program.

Hope-Page Archery Program- BCW Donated $500 to their archery program for the national tournament.


Rocky Mountain Elk- BCW Donated $500 to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.


BCW Foundation- The foundation received a grant for $1500 from the NRA to help with the cost of targets for our local trap teams. The grant money will be divided between the BCN Trap Team and the VC Trap Team based on the number of shooters.


Road Cleanup- Road cleanup is tentatively scheduled for May 17th if you plan to go, but won’t be at the May meeting please let Perry know.


Summer Derby- Summer Derby will be June 10th and 11th applications have been mailed out to last year’s participants and are available on our website. You can also request one by emailing barneswildlife@gmail.com If you can help at the event please contact Perry 490-1797.


Pheasant Chicks- If you are interested in raising pheasant chicks contact Perry 490-1797.


Game Warden Raffle- Perry has some of these tickets available, first prize is a ND Moose Tag.

NDWF- NDWF President Kerry Whip has been emailing out briefings. I have been emailing them out to the membership and will continue to do that to keep everyone informed with what’s going on with NDWF and the Legislature.
