Free burgers for paid members at 6 PM…Meeting at 7 PM
BCW Predator Hunt- The hunt will be Saturday February 12th. Registration will be from 6-8 am at Stout Ross Ford. Check in will be at the Dacotah Pavilion. There will be chili, but you will need to bring your own beverages.
Sheyenne Valley Calling Contest & Raffle – Sheyenne Valley Calling Contest- There were 14 teams with a total of 34 hunters. There was a total of 29 coyotes brought in. 1st Place- 7 Dogs, Keith Hample, Brennon Weight, and Eugene Sandness. 2nd Place-5 Dogs, Gary Will, Justin Gronbeck, and Christian Owen. 3rd Place- 4 Dogs, Lee Slykerman and Russ Young. Raffle and full results below.
Membership Drive & Landowner Appreciation Supper- We had roughly 125 people come, a good turnout was considering the weather.
Pheasant Tail Contest – The pheasant tail contest was at the January meeting. Marlow Stavens wont with a 24 12/16 inch tail, Tim Logan was second with 24 9/16, and Perry Kapaun was third with 24 8/16.
NDWF- Convention was held in Bismarck on January 7th and 8th. Attendance was down quite a bit. Elections were held at convention. Kerry Whipp is the new President, new VP Greg Gerou, and new Treasure Rod O’Clair. Derrick Rogers was elected as a director as well.
Big Spender- There is a couple tickets available. Please contact Perry if you are interested in a ticket.
Fingal Wildlife Club Smoker- Fingal Smoker will be February 11th. The club purchased some tickets again this year that were handed out at the January meeting.
Take a Kid Fishing- Ethan Preston will be the new chairperson. They may co-op with the Pond Hopper group for the event. There is also discussion on trying to hold the event on a week night.
Gas & Grocery Raffle- Tickets sales were good again this year. The raffle brought in almost $2300.

Pheasant Tail Contest will be before the 7pm Meeting
Landowner Appreciation Supper and Membership Drive- Will be January 5th at 6 pm at the Valley City Eagles Club. Please invite landowners.
Gas and Grocery Raffle Tickets- The drawing will be held at the membership drive on January 5th. If you can sell more tickets or would like to purchase more tickets contact Perry 490-1797. If you still have tickets bring them to the membership drive.
Election of Directors- The election of directors took place at the December Meeting. Jay Holm decided to get off the board after many years of service. Braden Wenaas was voted on to the board.
2022 Budget- The budget was presented at the December Meeting and approved by the membership.
Sheyenne Valley Calling Contest & Raffle – The hunt and raffle are scheduled for January 22nd. Raffle tickets are available. You can purchase them from members and also you can get them by sending $20 to Josh-Holm on Venmo. If purchasing on Venmo please include the following, first and last name, phone number, and email if you’d like a picture of your ticket emailed to you rather than sent in text message. Please bring any tickets sold/unsold to the January meeting.
Deer for the Food Pantry – Goose said that 4 or 5 deer had been turned in at Valley Meats to be donated to the food pantry.
Pheasant Tail Contest – The pheasant tail contest will take place before the January Meeting. Please bring in the entire tail section from the pheasant.
NDWF- Matt Maresh decided to step down as the clubs representative to NDWF, Derrick Rogers is taking that position over. .
